Our client is a leading global supplier of Marine Lubricants and am now seeking to hire for a Regional Account Manager position to be based in Singapore to focus on their Marine segment customers locally and regionally.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible to maximise profitability and sales opportunities by managing and developing strategic business relationships for sales direct/B2B in a defined geographic area, building on existing relationships and creating new business opportunities. You will spend up to 70% of your time managing a portfolio of existing customers, and for the remaining canvassing sales, identifying and converting new prospects. This position is supported by a strong cross-functional customer accounts team, digital tools & platforms and the in-region Sales Operations Executive allowing you to focus on customer facing activities.
As the right candidate, you should have a minimum of 10 years' of B2B regional direct sales or distributor management experience to customers in the Marine or Shipping industries; preferably in lubricants or related product ranges such as paints or coatings and marine chemicals. You should come with a track record in the delivery of sales targets and performance with the experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
