Our client is a leader in Prestige Beauty, with strong growth and innovation track record in the recent years, and continued investment to ensure continued sustainable expansion. They are looking to hire an Area Sales Manager, responsible for their North Asia distributor and affiliate markets.
Reporting into the Regional Director, you will be responsible for the sales and distribution strategy of a portfolio of brands in North Asia markets, working in tandem with local distributors and brand affiliates. You will manage the P&L for this region and this brand portfolio, analysing the distribution network, competitor landscape, business results for each point of sale, and subsequently negotiating sales, A&P and local marketing activities with local affiliates and distributors. You will make on-site local market visits to ensure compliance with brand image and price policies. Overall your goal will be to reach revenue and sales margin targets, while respecting brand image, for this territory and brand portfolio.
The ideal candidate is degree qualified, with Area Sales Management experience in the Beauty industry (Make Up & Fragrance category experience is preferred) for North Asia markets. You are analytical with strong numbers sense, strategic, strong negotiation and leadership / influencing skills, self-starter, creative, and desire to work in a highly entrepreneurial matrix reporting environment.
