Our client is a global player within the Health & Life Science industry. They are  highly respected for its innovative product development. As the business continues to grow in scale within Asia Pacific, there is now an opportunity to join them as a Regional HR Director.   

Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will be responsible for building and sustaining a robust HR structure and function to support the APAC operations. You will manage the HR function in APAC and lead the strategic HR planning to identify talent including the development of workforce planning.  In collaboration with the business leaders, you will develop compensation and benefit programs on sales incentives and rewards. Develop programs to support the full development and performance of all employees. Develop HR planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps. Your role is pivotal  in the organization culture building and the enabling of the business to progress to the next stage in their growth. 

You will drive and implement strategy for Human Resources in optimized staffing strategy. Deliver HR strategies with the main focus on building leadership capabilities, people measures management, employee engagement and corporate policies.
You will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field with  proven experience of HR operations and HR Business Partnering. Demonstrated ability to enhance and/or develop and implement HR programs and procedures to improve overall operations and organizational effectiveness.

You will have a minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within HR, including mentoring and developing a high performing HR team.  Proven experience of HR leadership within APAC and hands-on generalist contributions in day-to-day aspects of HR such as employment, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations and training programs.  You will have strong ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals and groups across all levels of the organization. Past experience working within the Health & Life Science Industry will be an advantage.
