Our client is a market leader in the lubricant/additives market and am now looking to hire for a Singapore-based Regional Sales Manager position to replace the current incumbent whom will be furthering the career within the organisation.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to achieve set sales target for your assigned business segment comprising of products such as Industrial, Compressor and Refrigeration Lubricants. This position will cover SEA, Oceania and India region to provide the leadership in the drive to grow the business in terms of customers, market shares, and revenue and to improve business profitability through pricing and margin management. You will look into new distributor development and manage the appointed distributors strategically to ensure that their sales targets are achieved. Other tasks include managing product forecasts to enable the reduction of the cost of inventory and improve efficiency of plants.
You will possess a bachelor’s degree preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years’ of regional sales and distributor management experience in compressor or lubricants segments. You will be hands-on and yet able to put on your strategic hat when required; while displaying leadership skills. Good communication and interpersonal traits while willing to travel ≥ 50% of your time will be necessary.
