Our client is a globally leading Specialty Chemicals company with a strong position in the Personal Care market. Due to business growth reasons, they are looking to hire for a newly created Singapore-based Technology Development Manager role for their APAC Personal Care team.
Reporting to the Global Research & Technology Director for Personal Care who is based in Singapore, you will be tasked to coordinate technology development activities from discovery through to acquisition/licensing. It will also include working with customers to optimise the technology to their application or processing. This role will be part of the Global Personal care research capability to establish scientific expertise through differentiation and promote to customers the advantages of the company's ingredients and technologies. You will join in an individual contributor capacity and will hopefully develop into a capable lieutenant of the global director and grow the APAC Personal Care business and team.
You will ideally have 10 years' related experience in Personal Care applications or formulation development/similar activities with strong expertise in emulsion chemistry, colloidal chemistry, polymer chemistry, and physical surface chemistry etc. A team player with the ability to set priorities, work independently, and manage time effectively while maintaining creativity will be a key requirement. You should be a fast learner with a curious mind who constantly wants to learn and develop.
