Our client is a leading Animal Nutrition & Health company with established footprint across Asia. They are now looking to hire for a Singapore-based Regulatory Affairs Manager position to replace the current incumbent whom will be furthering the career within the organisation. Area of coverage will be Asia Pacific (excluding China and India).

Reporting to the R&D Director who is based in Singapore, you will manage the Regulatory Affairs (RA) team based across the region, strategise registration approaches, lead and supervise all activities in support of company direction and strategic plan. The RA department is solely and fully responsible for completion of all product registrations. You will need to stay vigilant and keep abreast of the regulatory changes as well as to formulate RA strategies in order to cope with the dynamics of the regulatory environment and overcome regulatory barriers regionally. Other key responsibilities include driving team members in cross- functional cooperation and play a key role in Product Innovation Process (New Product Development), drive RA issues and provide advice to project team to optimize market opportunities from regulatory standpoint. Setting up good regulatory network by establishing relationship with various regulatory bodies in Asia Pacific will be required.

You will have a Bachelor of Science or above, preferably in the area of chemistry or a life science discipline e.g. agricultural science, food science, nutrition etc. You will have approximately 10 years of experience dealing with regulatory affairs of food ingredients, feed / agricultural chemicals or consumer food products and proven track record of accomplishments in getting feed / food products licensed by the Asia Pacific regulatory bodies. Good business acumen and customer orientated attitude, working experience in a commercial setting is an advantage.
