Our client is a leading manufacturer of Sensors and Automation Components and am seeking someone with solid sales management and sales development skills to develop their distribution channel in SEA region.
Reporting to the local General Manager, this Channel Partner Regional Sales Manager for their Sensor and Automation Components unit is accountable for delivering the Company’s annual regional sales plan with regard to the referenced products in the assigned Southeast Asia geography. Responsibilities of the role includes: developing and implementing market growth strategies through indirect sales, establishing, managing and growing relationship with channel partners, improving and expanding the network of channel partners, providing training and coaching to partners’ sales staff, providing support to partners’ sales and marketing efforts. Customer segments will primarily be: equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to the Plastic, Mobile Hydraulic, Metalwork, Electric Furnaces industries.
You will possess a Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years of experience in regional sales in the Industrial Automation space. Experience with sensors is a must, as more than 80% of the product lines will be about sensors. Proven indirect sales management (i.e. channel partners, in the form of distributors) experience is a must due to the nature of the role. You will need to be self-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently.
