Our Client is global manufacturing MNC who is widely recognized for their futuristic innovation in the industry being a market leader. Due to continued business growth, there is now an opportunity for a dynamic and seasoned procurement professional to join them.
You will spearhead the regional sourcing effort, identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations on project buyout and service costs. You ensure negotiations are not solely price centric but focus on delivery lead times, best payment terms, return or repair compensation and other critical terms to seal good supplier contracts. You will drive supply chain analysis/ strategy, perform ongoing supplier development, supplier performance management, evaluation and improvement. You will also be responsible for project management strategy and continuously improve the purchasing activities. Commodity that will be sourced would be largely components and equipment which includes to control valves, pipes, charging system, transmitters, pressure and temperature gauges, filters, turbine meters, ultrasonic meters, control system and etc.
You have acquired 6 to 10 years of direct procurement/ commodity sourcing experience with regional capacity gained in manufacturing, semiconductor or oil & energy industry. You have proven track record of delivering large savings and driving continuous improvement/ best practices strategies. You are aware and familiar with the current market prices of components and equipment and passionate about modern/ alternative procurement methods.
