Sales Manager - IT Services

A global technology player in the IT services Industry is seeking to hire a seasoned Sales manager for Singapore and cover the Financial Services sector/ Public Sector.

You will play a hunter role responsible for acquiring new clients within the territory, responsible for executing sales and business development strategies for target companies within FSI or Public Sector.
You will target a portfolio of IT outsourcing services including Consulting, BPO, Application Development and management, Information Security and engineering services for targeted clients. Your primary responsibility is to achieve new sales results within the region and develop revenue-producing relationships with decision making and CxO level executives.
You shall drive the sales cycle for all assigned sales opportunities from initial prospect communication through contract execution. This role will be supported by an on-site and off-shore pre-sales and solutions team. You will achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as established by the Region head
The role will do active lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
You are expected to develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with senior management at the targeted firms. You will manage the end to end sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, RFI response, Multi-day client workshops, RFP submission, negotiation and deal signing.

For this role, we need someone with a proven track record of selling technology solutions and services to the Financial Services Industry or the Public Sector.
You must have a good track record of overachieving sales targets within technology companies. At least 8 to 10 years of sales experience is desired and preferably has done whitespace selling as well as some percentage of large account management.
Experience working in an IT services and solutions company and with knowledge of off-shore models will be an added advantage. Ideally, you will have a strong network of contacts with the FSI or the Public Sector and familiar with the sales cycles and process within these sectors.
For public sector sales, ideally you would have security clearance and for both roles, candidates must be based in Singapore and covering the Singapore market.
