Our Client is a reputable global fashion MNC who has strong brand presence in the region. They are looking for an experienced Regional Logistics, Assistant Manager who specializes in retail business operations.
Reporting to the Logistics Head, you will manage a small team based in Singapore and you will be responsible for the overall distribution of goods which includes import/ export shipment for all mode of transport in the region. You will ensure on-time delivery and compliance to customs regulatory. You will act as the subject matter expert in continuous improvement projects in the region and other adhoc logistics projects. As a leading fashion MNC, events are an integral part of the business which requires you to handle the transportation/ manpower requirements. You will work closely with warehouse (3PL) and freight operations which includes all the pre-invoicing to service providers for transport.
You are degree qualified with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain gained within Retail/ Luxury MNC environment. You are well verse with SAP and WMS would be an advantage. You are familiar with the import/ export regulations and customs compliance. You have some direct/ indirect people management experience with proven vendor management skills. Mandarin speaking will be preferred as the role requires frequent interaction with stakeholders from China.
