    Description

    Our client is a multinational corporation providing travel services and solutions with well-known products in its portfolio. They are looking to bring in a Head of Technology for the APAC business. The role will oversee the management of the professional services, service and infrastructure operations and technology footprint in APAC. The role will also support and influence the current and future strategic growth of the APAC business with focus on continuous improvement, operational efficiency gains and innovation.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage development and localisation of the company’s products and services, providing oversight and guidance to the team in execution, and ensuring integration across  functions and clients.
    • Contribute to the shape and vision of the products and services roadmap with specific representation of the APAC market
    • Act as the business partner to the country managers and account teams where SME knowledge, input or support is needed
    • As required supervise and/or contribute to development of Global/Group projects, products and applications
    • Architect and design applications either as standalone platforms or as integration tools in support of other Regional/Global platforms or Group products
    • Work with Regional/Global team or offshore external development partners on platforms/solutions.
    • Provide current market technology expertise/knowledge and actionable local market insights to business leaders
    • Monitoring of performance across services to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met and reported on i.e. Professional Services, Service Management and Security, Contact Centre and reporting them to senior management.
    • Drive optimization across service workflows; improve processes and tools.
    • Team management; regular 1:1s, team meetings, team coaching, team development etc.

    Requirements

    • 12+ years in a technology-driven consultancy role using cloud, automation, integration and implementation projects across the software delivery lifecycle
    • A proven track of leading projects from idea inception through to delivery
    • Experience working with global teams
    • A proven track record of building client relationships and creating change
    • Understanding of the modern technology landscape in APAC, how to apply this to business problems and identify the limitations and localisations
    • Experience onboarding and rolling out new platforms and technologies, as part of transformation initiatives, ideally one or more of the following: Cloud, Mobile App, Microservices
    • Demonstrated experience in ITIL practices.
    • Exceptional track record in people leadership. Strong senior stakeholder management
