The Client is a top-tier Tobacco MNC with presence around the globe. As the Company looks to expand their business in Singapore, they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager (General Trade) to drive commercial excellence and build a strong Field Force.
Reporting to the Head of Trade, you will be responsible for drivingin-store execution excellence, superior trade engagement, trading terms negotiation, pricing and promotion activation to support the delivery of trade marketing KPIs – NTO (net turnover) and market share growth.
As the Area Sales Manager, you will monitor and track the KPI performances of the field force, so as to ensure that business deliverables are on track. You will drive distribution effectiveness in managing out-of-stocks and product quality at the retail level.
You will also be responsible for resource planning and allocation to drive effective Trade Coverage Plan(TCP), as well as for establishing and negotiating trading terms with customers.
You will need to possess at least 6 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry. Team management experience is highly preferred. Additionally, a class 3 driving license is compulsory. The ideal candidate is well-presented, with good planning, analysing and communication skills. .
