    Description

    Our client is a Food Ingredients Producer experiencing high growth and am aspiring to be a top global Food Ingredients player in the coming years. As part of their growth strategy, they have newly created this Singapore-based position to build up their business platform in Asia to allow their edible nuts products to be utilised as Food Ingredients with their customers.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Global Ingredients Head of Edible Nuts, you will be responsible to develop food ingredients business from it’s current start up phase by achieving sales targets (volume and margin) and assigned strategic account objectives as well as focus on business development with the customers. This position works within a cross functional team environment to achieve his/her objectives which includes driving portfolio growth, R&D development ambitions including new products & solutions seeded for development, and management of the other scope of services offered (technical services, supply chain/planning, marketing, etc.).

    Requirements 

    You should have 20+ years of direct sales/commercial or account management experience in food/ingredient or a related industry in Asia markets, and should have built solid relationships with major ingredients customers especially by selling various food products like sweeteners, inclusions, emulsifiers etc. You will be experienced in managing direct reports and influencing cross functional stakeholders, with direct sales experience in developing account relationships with strategic customers; demonstrated results in growing business with customers and delivering margin growth. You will have demonstrated quantitative skills and commercial acumen; ability to quickly learn in a very fast paced business environment. The role will also require you to have proven ability to scale up new ingredients – achieve volume and profit targets consistently; as well as the ability to sell new concepts & ideas – refine solutions to match customer needs perfectly and translate those needs to the internal teams of Innovation and Production.
