A large cap diversified conglomerate with business interests across various sectors, many of which they are leaders in their own right, is embarking on a business transformation with an emphasis on achieving operational excellence for the finance function within Asia Pacific. As such, there is an opportunity for a highly capable thought leader to champion this initiative.
Fundamentally, you will drive the vision and strategy for business improvement and operational excellence for Finance across Asia. This will encompass working across multiple functions with different stakeholders in understanding the commercial needs of the business and identifying best in class finance support structure (including shared services delivery model). You will review and streamline existing processes and procedures, with an agenda of achieving impactful cost savings year on year, identify adequate finance capabilities, keeping in mind the implementation of a sophisticated ERP system that is currently under review.
Ideally you are degree qualified with strong experience in business/finance/operations transformation. With a minimum of 15 years relevant experience gained in progressive multinationals (in both line finance as well as transformation roles), you have a demonstrable track record of managing strategic and complex projects across Asia. Relevant industry experience and Six Sigma whilst not a must, are highly preferred. You are strategic and commercial in mindset and detailed in execution. Dynamic, a self starter coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical success factors for this role. Travelling can be expected of this role.
