Our client is a leading Asian conglomerate, currently looking to rebalance their portfolio of businesses and investments. There is now an excellent opportunity for a high calibre M&A professional to join their ranks and have a hand in creating long term business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of M&A, you will be part of a team and manage the entire M&A process, including financial evaluations and due diligence, and portfolio management. You will liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders and lead high level presentations in seeking senior management approval. Whilst sectors of interest are broad-based and should be complementary to the existing businesses, target countries of interest (in no order of preference) would be Thailand, Indonesia, Greater China and Singapore.

Requirements

Ideally you are degree qualified and have a minimum of 8 years relevant commercial experience, of which the initial years should have been in management consulting. You are determined and driven. You are an effective communicator and can engage with audiences from all walks of life. Whilst seasoned, you are also operationally hands on and can work the details on the ground.
