This is an Energy conglomerate, with Singapore as its Asia Pacific Headquarters. With its diversified business interests across the energy value chain including power, utilities, and renewables, they have set up a climate tech entity as part of the conglomerate new business initiatives to drive sustainability efforts.

This is a newly created role as part of their business expansion plans.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Assistant Manager will be entity controller for the climate tech entity. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the full spectrum of financial reporting, management reporting, and business partnering with senior stakeholders to drive decision making process.

As part of supporting the management to drive the business, he / she will lead the budget and forecast preparation and provides information supporting long range planning activities. This will include long-term planning of profit and loss, capital employed, cash flow, and related analysis for the business.

He / she will work closely with the shared service centre team who will provide support in monthly closing and transaction work.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with an excellent bachelor’s degree in accountancy, with at least 5 years’ of relevant working experience in the area of finance and accounting.

Described as a solutions-provider, you will offer strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. You should have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
