A Major Asset Management Group in Asia is looking to hire for their sales team. A newly created role, this individual will work closely with the Head of Sales in developing and implementing business development and sales strategy globally.

Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will play an impactful role in driving business growth. This involves developing a business plan to identify business opportunities in Asia, playing a critical role in prospecting institutional clients, pitching for new mandates, supporting business development activities, participating in new product development and ensuring appropriate customer service levels with investors. You will build and maintain relationships with consultants and elevate the firm’s brand identity in relevant markets.

Requirements
The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and 10- 15 years of work experience, including a strong track record covering the institutional client segment in Asset Management industry. You bring with you a strong network of institutional relationships in Asia and have a deep understanding of the investor landscape. You are conversant across various traditional and alternative investment strategies and are able to articulate these strategies to prospective investors. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties. You are a solutions-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who is able to work independently and in a strong team environment.
