Description
We are partnering a renowned bank in Singapore to recruit a seasoned auditor who will play a pivotal role in strengthening their Audit function. This position will be instrumental in enhancing the overall control environment and mitigating risks within the Global Markets, Treasury & Corporate Finance businesses.
Responsibilities
As a senior member within the audit team, your responsibilities will include leading and participating in front-to-back audits across key markets in the region focusing on global markets, treasury and corporate finance. You will cover a diverse range of asset classes and focus on identifying control weaknesses, delivering solutions to enhance controls, and mitigate risks. It is important to ensure timely issuance of audit reports, present audit observations and recommendations to senior management, and conduct thorough issue validation to facilitate effective resolution of findings. Additionally, you will play a vital role in developing the team members, fostering their professional growth.
Requirements
You are a degree holder with extensive experience in audit and risk management within the financial services industry. It is crucial to possess a strong understanding of financial products and regulations related to global markets, treasury or corporate finance. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are essential. Effective communication, collaboration, and proven leadership in delivering high-quality results in audit engagements are expected. Adaptability to a dynamic environment, along with flexibility and resilience, is highly valued.
