    We are partnering a Leading Financial Institution to recruit for an Audit Director who will have significant influence in shaping positive transformations within the department. The organisation is at the forefront of innovation, providing consumers with technology-enabled solutions and has a commitment to sustainability and digitalization. This opportunity presents a chance to strengthen and develop a new QA & Methodology pillar within the audit department.

    Responsibilities

    As the Audit Director, you will have full ownership of the function, driving and enhancing core audit practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will include enhancing the Audit Methodology, managing quality assurance programs, and driving project delivery. You will provide constructive challenges, influence the audit team, and implement tools for increased efficiency. Your role involves developing metrics and reporting, supporting whistleblowing programs, and liaising with regulators. You will report audit activities to relevant committees and participate in industry forums. Additionally, you will serve as the data analytics champion, leveraging data-driven insights to drive transformative change in the audit function.

    Requirements

    You are degree qualified with at least 12-15 years of relevant audit experience in financial service, ideally with expertise in data analytics. Strong understanding of audit practices, methodologies, internal controls, risk assessment, and tools. Ability to influence with proven track record in driving change and executing strategic improvements. Experienced in supporting regulatory interactions and operational processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative and skilled in stakeholder management. Independent, proactive, and accountable.
