Our client is one of the largest banks in Southeast Asia with a reputation for being a strong advocate of technology and innovation. A role has now opened up within Group HR for an AVP (Compensation) to join them in providing compensation advisory and support to the Singapore office and their overseas subsidiaries.
This is a high-visibility AVP position which will grant you coveted exposure to the most senior levels of management within the bank (Board of Directors, C-suite leaders, heads of business lines etc.). You will be in-charge of managing the bank’s deferred awards program which includes the granting and crediting of shares, dividends adjustment, and oversight on regulatory disclosures. Furthermore, you will also help with structuring share buy-outs and guaranteed bonus packages. At the strategic level, you will also support the Group in their compensation planning – ensuring remuneration components remain market competitive, helping to develop salary & bonus budgets, managing bonus acrruals across different business units, and presenting findings to the senior management teams.
The ideal candidate should be degree-qualified with 5-7yrs of HR experience. This role would be great for someone in a C&B operations role (dealing with executive compensation and/or administering of a shares program) and whom is looking for a step-up into a role with strategic C&B exposure. You should be meticulous and possess an eye for detail, and have strong project management and communication skills.
