Description

Our client, a Global Investment Manager that specializes in alternative investments is looking for a Regional Compliance Manager with regional experience to co-ordinate regulatory applications for new licenses in the region, AML review of fund portfolio companies, handing fund approval and deal distribution.

Responsibilities

You will keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements in India, PRC, Singapore and other Asian jurisdictions, you will also provide compliance support to employees including business advisory, drafting policies and procedures, providing Compliance training and Code of Ethic application. You will also perform other tasks and global projects when necessary.

Requirements

To succeed in this exciting role, you should have at least 8 – 12 years of compliance/ legal experience with a US or European based asset management and private funds experience is a MUST. You should have knowledge of Asia regulatory regimes, including licensing and regulatory reporting requirements. You should be proactive, a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
