A Major Wealth Management firm is looking for an experienced Investment Counsellor to join the team. A newly created role, this individual will work closely with the sales teams in growing the private wealth business in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, you will play an impactful role in driving new business and sustaining revenue growth. You will partner with the sales team to deliver multi-asset investment strategies that consistently maximize client portfolio performance while ensuring a risk neutral profile. This involves understanding clients’ financial objectives, leading discussions during client meetings, providing portfolio advisory services across various asset classes, and formulating investment strategies that align with client’s risk profiles. You will stay abreast of new products in the market and propose new ideas to the product development team.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications with over 7 years of experience in financial advisory, preferably in Private Banking or Wealth Management. You are conversant across various investment products and can articulate investment strategies to existing and prospective clients. You have extensive knowledge of investment products, including but not limited to, funds, equities, and structured products. Role supports Greater China portfolio where you will converse and interact with Greater China clients and fluency in Mandarin is essential. You are a down-to-earth and solutions-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can effectively collaborate with different team members.
