Senior Cloud Engineer, Regional Asset Management firm

We are partnering a regional Asset Management firm to identify an Azure Cloud Engineer to drive their Cloud adoption roadmap specifically dabbling into Data Analytic projects. You will be tasked to identify the trends in the competitive landscape and develop business acumen and implications of emerging Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

You are tasked provide build and support complex cloud-based solutions using Azure, working closely with regional counterparts. You will enable applications modernization and migration to Azure, supporting release and production operations as needed. You will work closely with DevOps and Solution Architects to adopt new cloud technologies and drive continuous improvements, automating deployments. The team is ideally looking for a proactive individual who enjoys learning advancements in Cloud – even if it means expanding into boundaries of picking up a new programming or scripting language to better understand projects.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure solutions including cloud design and implementation
• Has experience implementing Cloud hosting to support multi country rollout and familiar with application modernization
• Good understanding of container deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes), IAC tools and microservices
• Prior experience on implementation of Azure Data tools
• Background and understanding in asset management businesses and partner ecosystems preferred
• You have excellent communication skills and have the ability to cultivate teams
