Our client, a large upstream supplier and manufacturer of chemical intermediates based in Singapore is hiring a Business Development and Planning Executive.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and proposing business opportunities for the company. You play a pivotal role in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to help prospective clients in setting up their petrochemical plant in Singapore, as well as work with existing clients to provide a full suite of common key utilities such as steam apart from supplying chemical intermediates. You will be part of a team that is key in devising proposal and strategy for the senior leadership to make decisions to grow the company’s business.

Requirements

Ideally, you would have a Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant field with at least 3 years of working experience. Prior work experience in a commercial role would be highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you are someone with technical knowledge in chemicals or petrochemicals intermediates and processes, has strong business acumen, a team player and good communication skills.
