    Description

    A fast growing global organization that provides data driven insights to the global financial services industry is expanding the team in SEA and looking for a Business Development Director to join them

    Responsibilities:

    Asia Pac has been identified as a key growth region for this organization in its global expansion plans. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong track record and a hunter mentality to play a key role in driving the success of the region.
    The role will focus predominantly on new business development with the successful candidate securing new clients in the region
    You will build trusted relationships and have the ability to quickly understand client’s business objectives and translate them to deliver compelling solutions that drive margin and growth.
    You will additionally manage a book of existing clients driving customer satisfaction and engagement with the products and services and successfully renewing these client subscriptions as well as identifying and developing commercial opportunities from within these accounts in order to maximize account and revenue growth.

    Requirements:

    You are a skilled sales professional with a strong track record and a hunter mentality having demonstrated experience of selling value added solutions into Banks and financial institutions eg. Retail Banking, Fintech, Credit Unions, Big Tech and schemes. You shall have the ability to sell into senior and C-suite stakeholders – depending on the size of the company, ( CXO/ Head of Product/ Head of Insights/ Head of strategy etc) At least 5 to 8 years of relevant sales experience and successfully meeting sales quotas. Experience in selling subscription based services will be preferred. You shall have experience in new business development as well as managing existing clients for cross and upsell opportunities. An appreciation of the inpact of research, data and insights on informing business strategy and improving business outcomes.
