    Description

    Our client is an established institution with presence in over 20 countries. With a significant breadth of product and service offering for individuals and businesses, they are planning further growth. This role is in the Continuous Education and Training (CET) and Consulting team, based in Singapore, with possibility to rotate within the group or to expand your portfolio in Southeast Asia.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Reporting to an people-centric Business Development Director, you will become part of the team that is responsible for developing the business of adult training and government-funded courses. This would be within the consumer (B2C) and corporate (B2B) market.

     

    Leveraging on an global brand name and working with your Sales and Training colleagues, you will be creating new prospects and opportunities for the team. While there are incoming leads from your manager or employer, you will also be responsible for creating fresh new business pipelines through a mixture of referrals, email campaigns, calling and social media activities. You will also participate in the preparation of sales proposals and market research.

     

    Requirements

     

    You will have at least 5 years’ experience in sales or business development, comfortable on the phone, and would be diploma or degree-qualified. Individuals with a background in any of the following: (1) Professional Services (non-training); (2) Training or CET Centres (Continuing Education Training) space; or (3) exposure to government funding schemes (WSG-SSG, CITREP or SkillsFuture) would be welcomed to apply. You are described as someone who is a natural self-starter, passionate in value-adding to people, and have a hunger to be a better version of yourself every day.
