    Description

    Due to Rapid growth even during these pandemic times an established and high-performance culture start-up that provides AI solutions for the FSI industry is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to further grow their business in the South East Asian markets

    Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for growing the new logos in the south-east Asian markets with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
    You shall proactively drive new opportunities from clients across Banking, Insurance Fintech, P2P to sell innovative digital solutions and AI /Analytics based technologies. You will build sales strategies to boost up sales performance and profitability and build long term relationships with clients.
    You identify and prospect into new logos and establish close relationships with senior leadership by prospecting, marketing leads and expansion of existing contacts within accounts.
    Where required, you will work with partners to drive sales in target accounts. You will work closely with the internal solution and pre-sales teams to drive and devise solutions and proposals that are relevant to the target customer. Lead and mentor junior sales members of the team with a roadmap to take over as a team leader within the next 12 months.

    Requirements

    To be successful for this role you would ideally have at least 10 years of experience in selling IT Solutions and Software to the Financial Services Industry and with a relevant Degree/ Post Graduate Qualifications. You should have a strong track record of consistently achieving sales targets and demonstrated key wins in your career. Experience in direct selling, as well as some experience in selling thru or with partners, is required. A strong understanding of AML, Risk, KYC, Digital Fraud and experience in selling Analytics and AI solutions is highly desirable. You should have demonstrated contacts within the FSI industry in the region especially within digital transformation, Compliance, Risk, IT Security functions. You shall also have a strong understanding of the procurement process various clients within the FSI sector. An open mind and the ability to work at the pace and structure of a start-up environment is highly desired. Experience in people management is good to have.
