    Description

    Our client is a Global Leading Fragrance Company, and am looking to hire a newly created Business Development Manager role to be based in their regional HQ in Singapore to lead the business development efforts of their Perfumery business across SEA and North Asia regions.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Regional Head of the Business Unit, the position will discuss and define all business development (incl. Innovation) projects in the assigned region while aligning Innovation Business Development efforts with the global lead to deliver the planned 5 year development pipeline. You will be responsible to drive all business development roll out, target setting and progress measurement, as well as being accountable for the innovation plan and potentials, adoption rate & growth ambition for local clients in key markets and especially that of SEA markets. You will have to define key adoption requirements, including specific commercials, value proposition, positioning & validation plan, as well as train and guide in-country commercial teams on technical & marketing concepts including the support  of sales pitches and follow-ups.

    Requirements 

    You will have a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Business, Engineering with MBA preferred, with at least 10 years in business development or strategic marketing in B2B environment (Chemical or Fragrance Industry preferred). Successful track record in managing cross border projects particularly in SEA countries as well as Korea and Japan markets will be required due to the massive potential of the countries in the perfumery segment. Characteristics such as being result oriented, experience in change management, training sales team and entrepreneurial with a good appreciation and network with regional and local customers will be critical.
