This is a leading global industrial company, with ambitious digitalisation plans in Asia Pacific and Singapore as its regional Asia Pacific headquarters. As a result of that, they are looking for a high calibre BI and Analytics Product Lead to join their newly setup team within the commercial business unit.
Reporting to the Head of Data, this person will work closely with the stakeholders and operations team to identify opportunities for digital initiatives to enhance customer experience, improve efficiency which in turn deliver commercial returns to the business. This person is responsible for the end to end product roadmap to delivery and execution. He or she will work with a brilliant in-house team of data scientists and software engineers for product development or can decide to seek external partnership if required.
Given the infancy of the role, the Product coach should act as the advisor to both business and the engineers to come out with viable PoCs in line with the business objectives. He or she will be responsible for the delivery of prototypes and with that, slowly influence the organisation to a digital and agile mind-set with the wins/results achieved.
The candidate should have at least 8 years of professional experience, preferably with a prior track record of successful product management experience from conceptualisation to implementation. Hands-on product ownership experience in data analysis or data visualisation BI solutions. in Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skill is a must for this role given the diverse business and team culture. Candidates from consulting firms are welcomed.
