There is an opportunity for a CISO to lead the information security department of a leading financial services organisation. This role is responsible for establishing, implementing, operating, reviewing and enhancing the company’s security framework and processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
As Chief Information Security Offices, you will lead the information security team, providing leadership and overseeing the security framework to ensure security controls are in place. You will direct the cyber security strategy, identify threat scenarios, quantify risks and work with stakeholders to ensure effective mitigation controls are put in place. You will work with executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk and ensure information assets are adequately protected.
You will have 15+ years’ career experience in IT and information security within a financial services organisation, including security policy development, risk assessment, compliance implementation and monitoring. You have experience as CISO or you have strong leadership experience reporting to a CISO, and are ready to step up to the lead security role. To succeed in this role, you will be a strong communicator, and track record enhancing security awareness and culture amongst employees within your organisation.
