A Global Asset Management firm is looking to hire an experienced Client Portfolio Manager to partner the investment team in covering Emerging Market Equities.

Responsibilities:

As a proxy of the Portfolio Managers, you will be responsible for engaging institutional clients, including private banks and family offices to provide appropriate investment solutions , with the aim of raising and retaining AUM.  You will pro-actively support all aspects of the investment process from communication of investment philosophy/strategies, investment process, fund performance and the investment team’s investment outlook to clients and prospects. You will collaborate with the sales team to identify business development opportunities and win client pitches, ensuring the team has a strong understanding of clients‘ investment needs and be able to advise clients and prospects on investment solutions. As a product specialist in emerging markets equity strategies, you represent the investment team internally and externally, articulating these strategies in depth and with conviction to clients.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and at least 10 years of work experience in an equity analyst/portfolio manager/ investment advisory role with experience in developing client-centric investment solutions. You have in-depth knowledge of public equities, with strong exposure to emerging market equities a distinct advantage. You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and are able to build strong relationships with internal and external clients. Your strong presentation skills and confidence will enable you to speak effectively at seminars, conferences and contribute to thought-leadership events. You are positive-minded, enthusiastic and passionate about investments. You work independently, yet thrive in a strong team environment.
