Cloud Solutions Architect, Financial Services Sector

We are partnering an established FS firm to identify a Cloud Solutions Architect to drive their Cloud adoption roadmap specifically dabbling into Data Analytics and migration projects. You will be tasked to identify the trends in the competitive landscape and develop business acumen and implications of emerging Cloud technologies. The company prides itself on its innovative projects that impacts and brings real value to life.

Responsibilities

You are tasked to provide leadership and act as the subject matter expert to various regional counterparts and design scalable solution architecture and deployment with Microsoft Azure. You will take part in designing solutions for strategic initiatives supporting architectural practices, governance and regional technological standards. You will make recommendations and develop partnerships with key stakeholders, driving long term cloud adoption and modernization.

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of demonstrated experience in large-scale Cloud architecture design and ability to articulate technical and business value of cloud services to customers and translate requirements to the engineering teams
• Familiar with application modernization, any exposure to Datalake projects a huge advantage!
• Good understanding of container deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes), IAC tools and microservices
• You think out of the box and provide a great consultancy experience to regional partners on preferred cloud recommendations
• Background and understanding in investmnet management businesses and partner ecosystems preferred
• You have excellent communication skills and have the ability to cultivate teams
