Responsibilities

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will lead the Communications function (internal and external), leading a team of in-house writers. This is a commercial role where you will lead Communications strategy while also contributing to the creative aspects of the Marketing Communications strategy. You will partner with Sales and Marketing leaders in an editorial capacity to enhance the business impact of their content, overseeing marketing presence across web and social media platforms, as well as owning branding and cultivating joint partner/client communications and industry thought leadership.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally from the consumer (b2c) industry, otherwise from an agency. Most important is that you are a highly-skilled and creative copywriter, with English writing skills of the very highest standard and a natural flair for writing engaging and compelling content. You will be a tenacious and resourceful person with an instinctive grasp of how writing can be used effectively across multiple channels to do everything from establishing a brand voice to connecting with consumers with a powerful and consistent message.
