    We are partnering a fast-growing, dynamic and innovative Fintech (Cryptocurrency) with a global team and network to expand their business in Asia. We are seeking a Compliance professional with the motivation and expertise to lead the Compliance function in Singapore.


    Reporting to the CEO, you will act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and independently manage the Compliance function. You will design the Compliance strategies for the Group and implement an effective AML & Compliance program. This includes formulating and developing the AML policy, standards, procedures and controls; conducting compliance review and addressing control deficiencies; ensuring that the business is adhering to global and local regulations. As a trusted compliance advisor to the business, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the technology and regulatory risk are mitigated. You will act as the key point of contact with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Payment Services Act (PS Act) licensing and regulatory matters. You will play a critical role in promoting a strong Compliance culture across the organisation.


    You are degree qualified with at least 7 years of Compliance experience in Financial Services. You must have good understanding of AML/CFT rules and regulations and hands-on AML operations experience. Certifications in AML or ACAMS is preferred. Exposure to Fintech, Blockchain and familiarity with PS Act will be advantageous. To succeed in this role, you must be highly adaptable, independent, hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced start-up & newly created role where some ambiguity can be expected.
