    One of the most respected food and agriculture businesses in the world, this is an organisation with a significant coverage across the value chain including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain. Due to ambitious growth plans in Asia Pacific, they are on the search for outstanding individuals to join a high-performing in-house corporate development team.

    Reporting to the Head of M&A, the Corporate Development Manager will drive, manage and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships for the Group. Working closely with Head Office and the business leaders, the M&A manager will evaluate new business development opportunities, conduct market analysis to identify adjacent industries, geographies for expansion. He/ She will also articulate the deal rationale, and evaluate the potential value of inorganic opportunities, subsequently developing business presentations for management to assess the acquisition.

    The successful candidate will possess excellent tertiary degrees or Masters within a business and finance discipline, with 8-15 years of work experience in mergers & acquisition. Those who had previously worked within investment banking divisions of bulge bracket banks, thereafter moving in-house to corporate development will have a distinct advantage. You will be described as highly analytical, commercially astute with demonstrated capabilities in deal closure and completion. You are most comfortable engaging with stakeholders across levels, business lines, geographies and cultures.
