    Description

    Our client has rich heritage within the FMCG industries and is the leading European leader in its own category.  There is now an excellent opportunity to be part of the Singapore management team as  the Country HR Manager.

    Reporting to GM in Singapore, you will be responsible for end to end HR functions including business partnering and all related HR operations. Work closely with the business heads to understand overall business strategy to ensure HR practices are supporting the functional departments in achieving their objectives. Manage implementation of HR initiatives for the local initiatives where necessary and implementing best practice.

    You will work with heads of departments providing value-added HR advice and support in their people management. Ensure consistency and compliance of HR practices for Singapore operations. Maintain effective cross functional communication flows throughout the organization. Revamp and implement development programs to enhance capability bench strength while creating an effective talent pipeline in accordance with the needs of the business. Work with line managers in managing employee relations or performance management issues. Manage and redesign salary structure  for the sales team. Maintain a competitive benefits system and performance evaluation system.

    Requirements

    You will possess a Bachelor’s degree ideally in Business Management or Human Resources Management related degree programs. At least 8 years of relevant progressive HR generalist and Business Partnering experience gained within an MNC environment.  A previous significant experience in the FMCG or Consumer-related Industry is highly preferred.  Strong functional expertise in HR Business Partnering and HR Operations are key. Ideally, you are a highly self-motivated with ability to drive change in a high pressured and fast pace environment with minimal supervision.  Champion best practice processes, tools and commitment to provide quality business partnering solutions. Strong project management skills and results oriented. Excellent interpersonal skill as well as oral and written communication skills. Business savvy, possesses entrepreneurial spirit to generate innovative solutions and deliver with excellence.
