Our client is a leading player in the payments industry with a fast growing presence globally. Due to continuous growth in Asia, they look to hire a General Manager in Myanmar.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Profit & Loss, configuration of sales, marketing, delivery and business operations for Myanmar. You will play a key role in identifying strategic opportunities to expand and grow the business as well as lead the distribution execution in Myanmar. As the country’s ambassador and spokesperson, you will effectively engage regulators, build strong relationships with external business partners and elevate the firm’s relevance and presence locally.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payments or/and retail banking. You have a deep understanding of the local Myanmar market and proven track record in sales and P/L management with accountability for sales, marketing, delivery and operations. You have demonstrated success in managing and developing relationships with key clients, local government/regulatory agencies, external business partners as well as internal stakeholders across functions.  You thrive in a dynamic, high growth  and fluid business environment.
