This is a leading Gas & Power Trading player in the region, with LNG as one of their key commodities. There is now an excellent opportunity for a high calibre Credit Risk Manager to lead LNG Credit Risk Management matters.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Credit Risk Manager will lead all LNG credit risk management matters with a focus on counterparties and business originated out of Asia Pacific. This entails rigorous qualitative and quantitative credit assessment of counterparty, performing sanction checks and counterparty KYC, monitoring of credit exposure and be the in-charge for daily credit risk reporting. The Credit Risk Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the credit management system, develop credit risk framework and concurrently assist in driving continuous business improvement projects.

Requirements

The successful candidate be a degree holder in Mathematical / Finance / Business discipline, with 10-12 years’ credit risk management experience in a commodities trading or commodities banking environment. Those with prior experience in quantitative credit risk management techniques covering commodity derivatives will have a distinct advantage. You will be described as highly analytical, resourceful, and a solutions provider with a keen eye for detail. You will also be an effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
