Description
Our client is a global food & beverage ingredients supplier and solutions provider. The Global Engineering Centre of Excellence (COE) is hiring a Dairy Process Engineering Manager to be based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of COE, you will play a pivotal role in leading commercialisation projects in the manufacturing plants in the APAC region, working closely with the Ingredients Innovation and Product Application team. You will also be the subject matter expert on dairy processing unit operations and the latest dairy processing technologies and equipment to continuously improve manufacturing processes for new and complex products. In addition, you get to identify, develop and lead automation projects in the manufacturing plants. As the portfolio expands, you will have the opportunity to improve process engineering aspects of other products like cocoa in the region.
Requirements
Ideally, you possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with specialisation in Chemical, Mechanical or Food Processing with at least 5 years of experience in dairy process engineering. You need to have in-depth knowledge of food engineering and the relevant unit operations. Prior experience in spray drying and UHT processing will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you are someone analytical, enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting, and able to work independently.
