A well-established Multi Family Office in Asia is seeking to hire an experienced business development professional. A newly created role, this senior hire will be instrumental in providing leadership in business development including leading, driving and executing the business development strategy for the firm in Asia.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Founder, you will be responsible for developing the firm’s value proposition, formulating business growth plans, identifying business development opportunities, with a focus on building distribution channels including private and retail banks, insurance platforms and IFAs in the region. You will also develop where appropriate, relationships with family offices and institutional investors in Asia.  As the driving force behind the fundraising process, you will be involved in initial outreach, marketing, prospecting, leading to successful expansion of the business in the region. You will explore alternative distribution channels such as digital and robo-advisory channels.

Qualifications:

You have strong academic qualifications and at least 10 years of experience in a business development/marketing/fund raising role in financial services. Proven track record in fund raising in investment management, particularly in alternative strategies is a strong advantage. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and deepen relationships with intermediary and institutional investors in the region. You understand the local market investment landscape and dynamics and are able to explore business development opportunities in the region. An entrepreneurial and innovative individual, you thrive in a role which requires strategic planning and equally enjoy executing the strategy to fruition.
