Key Responsibilities

• Drive Net Zero ambition
• Maintain and improve Scope 1, 2, and 3 data accounting and reporting
• Drive carbon reductions across operations globally
• Establish and maintain performance metrics, benchmark against the industry, and research innovations that will help meet its long-term climate and environmental commitments.
• Craft the climate strategy
• Develop and implement a global renewable energy strategy, portfolio, and execution of agreements
• Stay abreast of the global climate movement’s developments, anticipating where trends and opportunities
• Drive and engage on other critical environmental aspects
• Engage internal stakeholders globally to build awareness, engagement, and encourage collective action around environmental sustainability efforts
• Network across the industry and into other industries to build collaboration and scale opportunities

Requirements

• 10+ years leadership experience in environmental strategy and performance, with a focus on developing strategies and transitioning them to actionable programs and measurable progress
• A degree in environmental science, policy, business, economics, or management is preferred
• Values-based leader who’s passionate about making a difference through business
• Experience and knowledge working with carbon accounting frameworks and renewable energy
• Ability to engage across the organization to inspire, set a vision, connect, and drive action for change
• Ability to articulate how climate and environmental action (as part of overall ESG) is a business growth imperative
• Willingness to roll up the sleeves and contribute to the success of the vision and objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 15% as COVID-19 permits
