This is an established mid-size wholesale bank with the Asia hub being based in Singapore. Due to internal mobility, they are now looking to hire a Head of Operations in Singapore.  

Responsibilities

Managing the Singapore team, you lead and oversee the Operations function in ensuring business strategy, plans and initiatives are delivered in accordance with the local jurisdiction regulations. You continue to build a high-performance team whilst driving the on-going change management initiatives to enhance the digitalization.  You will work closely with the governance/technology and other business heads to contribute to the Asia change strategy too. This is a senior change management role with visibility to Group senior stakeholders.

Requirements

You have least 10 – 15 years of relevant wholesale Operations experience including proven track record in a leadership role managing the Settlement operations. Good experience in driving process, organization and operational change. Knowledge of trade finance, loan admin and/or FXMM derivatives is advantageous. You have good knowledge of front to back-office process and risk and is strong in problem solving. With strong communication and influencing skills, you are commercial, experimental, strategic, solutions-oriented and eager to contribute to the operations strategy.
