Our client is a universal bank in Vietnam that is investing heavily into its digital transformation journey with an international management team. They are looking for a Director of QA to help bring them in line with modern testing standards and procedures. The successful candidate should also be a leader who has a passion for coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Defining QA strategy, approach, and execution
• Ensure teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the QA strategy as defined.
• Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Ensure the proper usage of available tools. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, automation, etc.
• Direct the development of QA strategies, methodologies, and frameworks. Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
• Developing hiring plans, coordinating resources, and building a process for assigning, recording and evaluating the performance of staff.
• Organise training, manage career development, foster and build resources for the function.

Requirements

• At least 7-10 years of experience managing a quality assurance team and experience building, growing, and mentoring QA Engineers
• Demonstrated ability in the creation of quality standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of banking systems
• Strong knowledge of testing standards with the relevant professional certifications preferred
