    Our client is a renowned global bank which ranks amongst the largest financial institutions in the world. The bank has a global presence with offices in most parts of the globe, and hires employees from diverse backgrounds across all cultures and nationalities. They are now seeking an Employee Relations Specialist in Singapore to join the team in overseeing a range of complex ER-related matters.

    Role

    This role reports directly to the Head of Employee Relations who oversees a team of 4 employee relations specialists. Together, the team handles high-risk and highly-sensitive cases relating to Code of Conduct breaches, workplace harassments, financial market misconduct, regulatory compliance, fraud investigations, and employment risk mitigation. You will also partner closely with business line managers to advise them on business decisions with potential ER implications – these may include performance reviews, organization restructuring, and a range of ER topics (e.g. HR policy, absence, conflict resolution). You play a important role in maintaining the overall standards of conduct within the bank which ultimately reinforces the bank’s values and behaviors in Singapore.

    Requirements

    You should possess at least 5 years of working experience with a strong focus within or with the Financial Services industry. Candidates with a background in Law and/or Employee Relations are preferred. High levels of integrity and objectivity are a must given the nature of the role, as are excellent relationship management & communication skills.
