This premier bank has a strong commitment in building a sustainable business to support its transition to low carbon economy. It is now recruiting ESG & Climate Risk, Senior Manager, based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Head of ESG and Climate Risk, you will help integrate ESG/climate risk into the overall risk management framework, scenario analysis, stress testing and climate risk strategy. As the key contact point for climate risk management, green and sustainable finance, ESG reporting and carbon neutrality strategy within risk management, you will advise business units on the green and sustainable finance product development, customer ESG risk assessments, and development of relevant customer engagement and transition plans. You will be the key liaison with the regulator, external and internal auditors, consultants, and investors on ESG and climate risk matters. You will build awareness and risk culture surrounding ESG and climate risk.

Requirements

Degree qualified, you possess experience in financial analysis, accounting, credit assessments, modelling, consulting and/or sustainability.  Experience in green and sustainable finance or climate risk management experience is a plus. Working experience in banking or other financial institutions is preferred but not a must. You are analytical, possess strong communication, written, organizational and influencing skills.
