Our client is a renowned and highly respected organisation. Due to talent movements and succession planning, there is now an exciting opportunity to join them.
As a strong people manager and developer, you will lead a team of qualified and seasoned professionals in managing the entirety of financial accounting and reporting, FPA and business partnering as well as finance operations. This will naturally include the oversight of controls and compliance, and ensure overall financial and corporate governance. As an extension, you will be expected to review the existing finance framework (policies, processes and controls) and enhance these where necessary, in order to remain efficient, robust and competitive. Additionally, you can also expect to deputise the CFO on other strategic initiatives.
You are degree qualified, ideally in Accounting and Finance. Initial years spent in a Big 4 Accounting firm is a must. Professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA are pre-requisites for the role. With a minimum of 18 years relevant and commercial work experience, you are a full suite finance professional, with prior work experience in financial accounting, budgeting and planning, as well as audit/internal controls/compliance. Demonstrated track record of a team manager and exposure to board presentations/senior stakeholder engagement will be highly advantageous.
