Our client is an established industry leader; NASDAQ listed and part of US Fortune 500. Renowned for having a great work culture and environment, there is now an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hungry finance professional to join them and lead their Korea finance organization.
Partnering the General Manager, Korea and reporting to the Group Controller in US HQ, you will lead a team and manage the entirety of the finance function for the Korea business. Apart from the day-to-day fiduciary and governance responsibilities, you will establish and enhance the FPA function and be a true finance business partner to the senior leadership team. Harnessing robust ERP, management reporting systems and data analytics, you are expected to design, introduce and implement KPIs/dashboards so as to provide financial insights on overall business operations and facilitate strategic decision making. You will be the conduit between US HQ and Korea operations, and be the champion on ad-hoc global projects that have a strong emphasis on continuous process improvements. As the company has ambitious growth plans – both organic and inorganic – you can also expect to be deeply involved in M&A integration.
Ideally you are a seasoned finance professional, armed with relevant degree and professional qualifications. You are technically competent and have a strong inclination towards commercial business partnering. Dynamic, strategic and driven, you enjoy challenging the status quo, especially if it means bringing the business and organization to the next level. You are adaptable, versatile and able to evolve in a constantly changing landscape. You are a strong communicator; professional, respectful and tactful. You are a strong leader and have a proven track record of developing a team and bringing them along on the journey of transformation. This position will be based in South Korea, and returning South Koreans are welcome to apply.
