I am partnering with a MNC in the chemicals manufacturing sector, who provides essential chemicals to the industrial and consumer markets, to hire a Finance Manager to support their business needs. Please note that this opportunity is located at the West, with car allowance and free parking on the compound provided.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a team of direct reports, you will be responsible for driving the overall financial strategy and ensuring financial and operational excellence for the business unit. This involves managing full sets of accounts, day-to-day accounting operations (i.e. costing, inventory, fixed assets, tax, etc.), annual budgets (i.e. capex, manufacturing costs), monthly closing activities and management reporting. You will also be the key finance business partner to operational stakeholders, and external stakeholders (i.e. tax agents, external auditors).

Requirements

You are a qualified accountant (CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, and a proven track record in people management and familiarity with accounting in a manufacturing firm (e.g., costing, capex, etc.). To thrive in this role, you would be described as a strong leader who is driven and possess a high degree of problem-solving skills to lead and motivate people at all levels in the organization.
