My client is a UK-headquartered Law Firm with a strong footprint in Singapore. They are presently seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Lawyer (FinTech/FS Reg/Crypto) to join them here in Singapore. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of financial regulation, including banking, securities, payments services, crypto and blockchain regulations, as well as a proven track record of advising clients on regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice to financial services clients (funds, banks, payments services, crypto) on complex financial regulatory issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
• Stay current on changes in financial regulations and provide updates to client

Qualifications:

• At least 7-8 PQE gained from a reputable local/international law firm
• SG Qualification preferred due to the nature of the work and legal advice rendered to clients
• Strong understanding of banking, securities, payments services, and crypto regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with strong interest in business development and practice management
• Strong stakeholder and interpersonal skills

Client is open to considering candidates who have moved inhouse and wish to transit back into a fee earning role.
