This is an Energy conglomerate, with Singapore as its Asia Pacific Headquarters. With its diversified business interests across the energy value chain including power, utilities, renewables. Due to internal mobility, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a high calibre Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) Senior Manager to support the Group’s growth ambitions.

This is a leadership role overseeing a high performing team of financial analysts.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Senior Manager will be part of the team responsible for the Group’s budgeting/ and forecasting process for several key locations within Asia Pacific.

The FP&A Senior Manager will also play the role of a finance business partner through providing insights into meaningful analytics for the region, including how the business is performing and highlighting issues that will help drive business decisions. Due to the complexities of the business, the FP&A Senior Manager will be working alongside finance business partners embedded in the various business enterprises to offer a holistic and regional view of the APAC markets.

In addition, he / she will support the Head of FP&A in providing strategic analysis to senior management, including preparation of forecast and budget presentation, board presentations, and key financial metrics analysis.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with an excellent bachelor degree in Accountancy, with at least 8-10 years’ of financial analysis, budgeting and performance reporting work experience in a regional capacity, ideally within energy or heavy infrastructure sectors.

Described as a solutions-provider, you will constructively challenge status quo and offer actionable fixes to existing processes. You should have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.

As this is a team manager position, you will also have track record of managing and developing teams.
